This protest song was written by three people on a songwriting retreat and sent to me as a video; played on one acoustic guitar with a tambourine accompaniment. Here's where I was able to take it.

A collaboration with the talented soul singer - Spenser Williams.

I had started writing a this track in a style which (I'm pleased to say) was just a touch out of my comfort zone, but it needed a singer. I had tried two or three other vocalists but nothing gelled until I was introduced to Spenser, who's vocal style immediately hit the track perfectly. We worked on finishing it together and were very pleased with the outcome.

I've had the pleasure of working on dozens of tracks with Alonestar, including songs featuring Ed Sheeran, Busta Rhymes, Chris Brown, Tupac, DMX and more.

With Alonstar I received a Billboard #1 accolade

I produced this particular track as a remix of one that he made featuring Chris Brown. I wrote, produced and mixed all of the music under the vocals.

Sarah Louise

With a voice as angelic as Sarah Louise's you can't go too far wrong.

As is often the case with many of the inspired artists that I have worked with, Sarah Louise came to me with strong songs, presented with lyrics, melody and basic chords. I was able to take what she had and, working alongside her, develop them into fully evolved songs, providing all instrumentation and production - as well as her final mix and master.

Sarah Louise is a charm and a real positive force to interact with (as you'll know if you've seen any of her social media!). I've had the pleasure of producing two of her songs, one of which hit #1 in the Apple Singer/Songwriter charts.

Yerokesh

Yerokesh is a wonderful and interesting songwriter from Norway.

She pulls away somewhat from what you might expect to hear in other, more traditional singer/songwriter styles.

I love working with her and have done so on a number projects. Her characteristic approach to song-writing and musical choices are fun and inspiring to me as a producer and always keep me on my toes!

I've worked on a number of songs and projects with singer/songwriter Ivan and he's always a joy to work with.

Being that this is a song written for a memorial ceremony, the focus was on incorporating a military atmosphere with the drums and orchestra, while maintaining an overall singer/songwriter structure and feel.
