I will work alongside you to develop your sound. I'll offer inspiration where I can and ultimately get your music 'radio ready'.
Being a musician myself I have the added benefit of being able to record live instrumentation 'in-house' for your tracks, including guitar, bass, keys, mandolin and harmonica as well as many carefully chosen, great sounding and lovingly sequenced instruments such as drums, percussion, world instruments and orchestral elements.
Depending on your tastes and/or needs I also have access to additional recording musicians such as drummers, vocalists and ukulele players etc. - for a truly live sound.
As a songwriter it can be difficult to know exactly what you might need in order get your music to a place where you'd be happy to release it into the world - as the fully realised and rounded piece of work you know it deserves to be.
Helping artists to achieve their goals and to put their best foot forward has always been a great source of joy and satisfaction for me, and I'm proud to say that I've been able to do just that for many artists over the years.
For those ready to take it to the next step I also have connections to some truly fine recording studios both here in the Forest of Dean and - if you really wanted to push the boat out and get yourself in the perfect headspace for writing and recording - in the Tuscan hills, Italy!
As an experienced, award-winning writer and producer, my objective is to draw out the magic already present in your music. I help develop ideas, offering recommendations for orchestration, structure and production styles to bring out the best in it.
I'll build a new track (from scratch if necessary) based on your concept and lyrics
Together we'll develop instrumentation and structure
Advice and guidance (if needed) on any of your own recorded parts
Fine-tune the track to your taste. Once I deliver the project I then offer 3 revisions to ensure you're satisfied with the result.
